Sex Assault in Obama's Military Mostly Homosexual

While mainstream media focus on sexual assault of women in the military, President Obama's new secretary of defense Ashton Carter is pointing out that most victims are military men — commonly of anal sex assault and/or forced oral sex, according to a recent study.

By definition, male-on-male anal/oral sex is homosexual behavior.

Carter said the nation is looking to the Defense Department to "lead boldly on sexual assault," and he promised that "stopping sexual assault will be a focus of my time as secretary of defense."

Experts urged Army leaders to reach out to male victims of sexual assault, noting people should not view sexual violence as a crime perpetrated exclusively against women.

Jim Hopper, a psychologist and researcher, and Russell Strand, a retired Criminal Investigative Service special agent, spoke about an aspect of sexual violence not often discussed: sexual assaults on men.

So about 87 percent of men attacked are not reporting it and “these are real men in real pain,” Hopper said. The pain is compounded by shame. Being sexually assaulted brings additional feelings of shame to a man because it works against the ideal of what it means to be a man, he said.

They are also afraid of their friends or teammates finding out what happened to them, he said. They believe they will be looked at as less than a man, that they will be ostracized and shunned. And, many victims see the assault as the death-knell to their careers.

Although the Department of Defense has taken numerous steps to address sexual assaults of servicemembers in general, it still doesn’t have a clear plan for responding specifically to attacks on men, the Government Accountability Office said in a report released Thursday.

. . . A Rand Corp. survey last year estimated 9,000 to 13,000 active-duty men were sexually assaulted during the year prior to the survey. About 2,500 to 5,500 of those were described as “penetrative” sexual assaults.

The DOD has implemented a “gender-neutral” program for preventing and responding to the problem of sexual assault, an approach that does not take into consideration the significantly lower rates of reporting assault by men compared with women.

The difference in reporting “suggest that male victims of sexual assault may not have a similar level of confidence as do female victims in the process of reporting a sexual assault within the department,” the GAO said.

The Rise and Shine Academy in Toledo, Ohio has terminated a teacher and Lucas County Children's Services is investigating accusations that 6- and 8-year-old girls forced a 7-year-old girl to perform oral sex on them in the school restroom.

The mother says both her daughter and the school said the incident occurred while the students were on a bathroom break.

The situation has caused the girl's mother to keep her home from school, file a police report, and contact Children's Services, reports WTOL.

"Something needs to be done. Especially if they're not keeping a close eye on the children and this is what's going on at the school," she said.

The Rise and Shine Academy, whose web site describes the school as a free, community-based K-6 college preparatory program, has reportedly fired the teacher who was responsible for the students at the time of the incident and has brought in a psychologist to work with the students.

The CEO of Rise and Shine Academy, Dr. Pat McKinstry, says they became aware of the situation when a student reported something "nasty" happening in the bathrooms.

When a teacher found out, it was immediately reported, and the children were called to the office as their parents were called to the school.

"This incident, even though it happened, these 6-year-olds' innocent minds are only reacting to what they have been exposed to," said McKinstry.

The school has already changed their bathroom policy to only allow one child inside the bathroom at a time.

Brown Deer Police Chief Michael Kass told the station it doesn't appear any of the videos were posted on social media and that police are recommending the teens be charged with first- and second-degree sexual assault of a child.

The New Orleans Police Department said officers were notified of the incident Monday morning in the 2400 block of Jackson Avenue.

Stan Smith, interim superintendent of the School Board, said the incident allegedly happened sometime last week on the campus of Mahalia Jackson Elementary School in the 2400 block of Jackson Avenue. The boy’s parents reported it to school officials Monday, he said.

The crime log listed the incident as an aggravated rape.

A person must pass a background check to be able to work for the School Board as a substitute or full-time employee, Smith said. The person under investigation underwent a background check and passed it, he said.

“There was nothing in the background check that noted anything on this individual,” Smith said.

The Obama administration’s anti-sexual assault campaign, dubbed “It’s On Us,” is being conducted in collaboration with over 200 universities around the country, as well as groups such as the NCAA and even the video game company Electronic Arts.

Students who take an “It’s On Us” pledge are asked to change their profile pictures on social media outlets to the campaign’s logo and to supply their emails and ZIP codes to the campaign. Those who participate will have their information forwarded to the Center for American Progress, a leftwing think tank with significant ties to the Obama administration.

The University of Michigan has released a list of relationship behaviors that it considers violent and abusive — including “withholding sex.”

“Discounting the partner’s feelings regarding sex,” “criticizing the partner sexually,” and “having sex with other people” are also examples of “sexual violence,” according to the list.

The school also offers definitions of domestic abuse. Under the section for “verbal or psychological abuse,” it states that not only is “insulting the partner” considered “abuse,” so is “ignoring the partner’s feelings.”

The terms, found under the heading “definitions,” also suggest verbal or psychological abuse include: “insulting the partner; ignoring the partner’s feelings; withholding approval as a form of punishment; yelling at the partner; labeling the partner with terms like crazy [and] stupid.”

Janet Bloomfield, social media director for “A Voice For Men,” an activist group that counters feminist extremism and misandry, took aim at these University of Michigan examples, first on her Twitter account over the summer and more recently in an email to The College Fix.tweet

“These kinds of policies contribute to an increasing level of sexual misconduct hysteria and essentially create a chilling climate for young men,” Bloomfield said. “When things like ‘withholding sex’ and ‘ignoring a partner’s feelings’ are framed as a pattern of behavior that is abusive, they are not only pathologizing normal relationship behaviors, but they are opening the door for vindictive or spurned partners to make allegations that can have profound effects for the accused. . . . I am unaware of a single case in which the accused student is a woman and the victim is a man.”

The University of Chicago, on its website, defines an abuser as someone who “has a strong belief in extreme gender roles” and “is jealous and possessive” among more typical forms of abuse listed.

Judge Says Incest OK; It's the New Gay

As judges force same-sex "marriage" down the throats of Americans, it comes as no surprise for a judge to say that society needs to accept men having sex with their sisters, or for that matter, men having sex with children.

He also said the “only reason” that incest is still a crime is because of the high risk of genetic abnormalities in children born from consanguineous relationships “but even that falls away to an extent [because] there is such ease of contraception and readily access to abortion.”

District Court Judge Garry Neilson said just as gay sex was socially unacceptable and criminal in the 1950s and 1960s but is now widely accepted, “a jury might find nothing untoward in the advance of a brother towards his sister once she had sexually matured, had sexual relationships with other men and was now ‘available’, not having [a] sexual partner”.

“If this was the 50s and you had a jury of 12 men there, which is what you’d invariably have, they would say it’s unnatural for a man to be interested in another man or a man being interested in a boy. Those things have gone.”

Reported on Friday, Judge Neilson’s comment on incest becoming socially acceptable is being investigated.

Attorney-general for NSW, Brad Hazzard has said that judge Nielson’s comments are appalling and caused extreme concern.

“Incest is completely reprehensible, unacceptable, disgusting and criminal.”

Hazard has reported judge Neilson’s comments to the Judicial Commission of New South Wales for investigation. He also requested the District Court suspend the judge from criminal trials until the investigation into Neilson was completed.

Judge Neilson made the comments during the trial of a brother charged with raping his younger sister. The man has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting his sister when she was 10 or 11 years old in 1973 or 1974 but has pleaded not guilty to charges relating to sex they had in 1981, when she was 18 and he was 26.

"By that stage they are both mature adults," the judge said.

"The complainant has been sexually awoken, shall we say, by having two relationships with men and she had become 'free' when the second relationship broke down. The only thing that might change that is the fact that they were a brother and sister but we've come a long way from the 1950s – when the position of the English Common Law was that sex outside marriage was not lawful."

The girl was allegedly held down by the pint-sized female assailants, her clothing forcibly removed and she was sexually abused, the court papers allege.

The suit claims a teacher entered the room during the attack and failed to take action.

Naudia Reid, an accountant, claims that her daughter was stripped below the waist in a rear portion of a classroom at the New Visions Magnet School in Freeport by a trio of first-grade girls who sexually assaulted her, according to court papers.

Her disturbing suit claims that a teacher who entered the area to retrieve a book saw her daughter half-naked and curled up — but took no action.

Reid — who immediately pulled her out of the school — said principal Renee Crump Dedmon called her after the incident to tell her that something unseemly had happened but failed to relay the true extent of the attack.

Reid said the principal told her that another student who witnessed the attack alerted administrators and that other kids have corroborated her account.

According to 21-year-old Joan Short — a student at [nearby] Thomas Aquinas College and a member of the Christian pro-life group Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust — she, her 16-year-old sister Thrin, and 11 other Survivors had set up three large signs in an [authorized] area of campus heavy with foot traffic called the Arbor. The banners, along with literature the activists handed out, displayed graphic imagery of late-term abortions that Joan said was intended to “begin conversations” with passing students.

Joan said that at around 11 a.m., Dr. Mireille Miller-Young — an associate professor with UCSB’s Feminist Studies Department — approached the demonstration site and exchanged heated words with the group, taking issue with their pro-life proselytizing and use of disturbing photographs. Joan claimed Miller-Young, accompanied by a few of her students, led the gathering crowd in a chant of “Tear down the sign! Tear down the sign!” before grabbing one of the banners and walking with it across campus.

Joan said she called 9-1-1 and Thrin started filming, and that the pair followed Miller-Young and two of her students — who Joan referred to as “the fugitives” — into nearby South Hall. . . .

The pro-life group indicated that, despite the violence, neither Thrin nor Joan are deterred from leading future pro-life outreaches.

Joan says, “Yesterday we had a good day.  We passed out all of the literature we had, and had lots of conversations. We know babies are dying everyday so we will continue to peacefully and nonviolently speak the truth about abortion.  We know we will suffer insult and even violence as we did today but we will not waver from our nonviolent speech on behalf of the babies.”

A department of feminist studies professor has been accused of going berserk . . .

The professor at the heart of the controversy is Mireille Miller-Young, an associate professor whose area of emphasis is black cultural studies, pornography and sex work, according to her faculty webpage. She could not be reached for comment Tuesday by The College Fix.

According to [Kristina] Garza, when Miller-Young came across the prolife demonstration, the professor started yelling at the protestors, saying abortion is a woman’s right. Then things got uglier, as the scholar allegedly enticed about 15 students to begin shouting “tear down the sign, tear down the sign” at the group . . .

As the prolife demonstrators tried to engage students one-on-one in conversation during a lull in the chanting, that’s when Miller-Young allegedly grabbed one of their signs and stormed off, followed by two UCSB students, Garza said, adding Thrin followed the threesome with her older sister, Joan, in tow and calling 9-1-1.

The parade weaved through two buildings and entered an elevator in the third.  Thrin attempted to get on the elevator with them, but Young blocked the doorway.  Thrin stuck her foot in the door, but Young pushed it out with her foot.  Tenaciously Thrin put it back.  This happened several times as Thrin pleaded with the students to not get involved. “The police are on their way,” she told them, “you don’t want to be with Professor Young.”

Suddenly Young reached out and pushed 16 year old Thrin. “Don’t touch me!”  Thrin cried, startled. Young’s long fingernails scratched Thrin’s arm.  Young pushed Thrin twice more and each time Thrin kept the door from closing with her arm.  Finally, Young got out of the elevator, and tried to pull Thrin away from the elevator door.  Thrin held onto the elevator with her other hand, the one holding the camera.  Realizing that students were trying to take the camera out of her hand, Thrin let go of the elevator.

The elevator doors closed.  Professor Young let go of Thrin, leaving several scratches on her arms, and got on another elevator.  Then the police arrived.

Hypersexualized White House and Sexual Violence in Schools

The Obama administration has been proud to elevate sexuality at every opportunity, including filling the Department of Education with homosexualists, trashing President Bush's emphasis on abstinence education, and so on. Appropriately, now the White House must also address the sexual violence committed by "well-educated" students.

Schools must do more to prevent and respond to sexual violence on campus, Vice President Joe Biden said Monday as he introduced new federal guidelines to combat the problem.

Biden was joined by Education Secretary Arne Duncan at the University of New Hampshire, which was chosen because of its highly regarded efforts in sexual violence prevention.

Under the Education Department guidelines, schools informed about sexual harassment or violence must take immediate action to stop the abuse and prevent it from happening again. Regardless of whether a victim files a complaint, the school must investigate the incident, even if a criminal investigation is underway.

. . . Vice President Joe Biden Monday . . . announcing new guidance that will go to all K-12 schools, colleges and universities to address the growing number of sexual assaults.

The White House is making new efforts to help prevent sexual violence on school campuses. A 19-page report released at the Biden event discusses efforts schools can take to prevent sexual violence but also gives direction in dealing with rape victims knowing their civil rights.

Education Secretary Arne Duncan said that most schools would like to believe that they are immune from sexual assaults but this directive will help them address the issue of sexual violence on their campuses.

Judge Rules Against Planned Parenthood

An Ohio court judge ruled . . . that a Planned Parenthood clinic failed to follow informed consent laws in the case of a teenage girl who was being sexually assaulted by her 22-year-old coach.

The St. Bernard girl who sued Planned Parenthood after it gave her an abortion - when she was 14 - without her parents' knowledge won a major victory even before the case goes to trial Feb. 7.

Hamilton County Common Pleas Court Judge Jody Luebbers ruled Tuesday that the doctor for Planned Parenthood of Southwest Ohio breached a legal duty by not having a meeting with the teen 24 hours in advance of the abortion to explain her options, something called an "informed consent" meeting.

By law, any health-care professional who suspects child abuse - a 13-year-old engaging in sex with an adult, for example - must report it.

[Brian Hurley, the attorney representing the teen,] contends Planned Parenthood also is liable because it violated Ohio law by not contacting the girls' parents before the abortion.

The event that prompted the lawsuit began in 2003 when John Haller, a soccer coach, began having sex with “Jane Roe,” then 13. In 2004, she became pregnant. Haller encouraged the pregnant teen – who reportedly also had a sexually transmitted infection – to seek an abortion. The teen received the abortion, performed by a medical doctor.

The clinic did not obtain written consent from the teen’s parents. Instead, clinic officials called a cell phone number the teen said was her parents’ number. Haller was on the other end pretending to be the girl’s father.

Haller was eventually convicted of sexual battery in 2004 and spent three years in prison. The parents of the youth sued Planned Parenthood in 2005.

Pro-life Activist Assaulted During Prayer Vigil

It's been a week now, and not one secular news organization has covered the assault of a participant in the 40 Days for Life event at Planned Parenthood in Fresno, California.

The woman [assailant] first attempted to break a security camera pro-life advocates installed to protect themselves and catch any harmful activity on tape. The attacker then cut [the arm of Victor Fierro, director of the Hispanic pro-life group Latinos4Life] with an unknown object, drawing blood, stormed back to her car and fled the scene.

Josh Brahm, the education director of Right to Life of Central California, told LifeNews.com that much of the encounter took place right behind the camera, but the audio was captured by the device. It also registered her face and license plate number.

“We're just trying to hold a peaceful prayer vigil out here. We're law-abiding citizens, standing on a public sidewalk, with the full support of the Fresno Police Department," he told LifeNews.com.

"Yet, several pro-abortion-choice people have been harassing us since day one. Now it’s turned physical," he added.

Christians Suffer Chemical Attack at Abortion Clinic

Two pro-life Christians praying at the site of a Wichita late-term abortion clinic operated by George Tiller were targeted by chemical exposure to fumes, with one woman hospitalized

One of the pro-lifers, Jennifer McCoy, was treated for four hours at a local hospital emergency room suffering from vomiting, diarrhea, and swelling of the face and eyes.

Another woman, Brandi Lozier, was with McCoy praying outside the abortion clinic in the early morning hours of Sunday, November 2, 2008, as part of the 40 Days For Life event. She suffered similar symptoms, but was not hospitalized.

Hazmat was called to the abortion clinic and treated the area with a kitty-litter type of substance in order to absorb the noxious oily spill.

After being released from the hospital, McCoy filed a complaint with the Wichita Police Department, but, a week and a half later, arrest and prosecution of the unknown perpetrator seems unlikely.

This was not the first of such attacks on pro-lifers who minister outside Tiller's abortion mill. In September, 2007, Tiller's security guard, John Rayburn, was photographed with a "stink bomb" that also sickened those on the scene. Prosecutors refused to file charges, and efforts to hold Tiller accountable in small claims court failed.

69-year-old Pro-Lifer Assaulted and Seriously Injured

Police Allow Assailant to Leave Crime Scene and Threaten to Arrest Witnesses

HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania, January 2, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A 69-year-old pro-life sidewalk counselor was assaulted and seriously injured on December 22 while attempting to talk to a woman over a privacy fence, resulting in serious injuries.

Ed Snell, a counselor with a group that talks to women to convince them not to go into the Hillcrest abortion clinic, was pushed from a platform attached to the top of his truck which enabled him to talk over the 7-foot privacy fence the clinic erected in an attempt to prevent the counselors from talking to the women.

The man who attacked Snell jumped the fence and "leaped on the vehicle with Ed and catapulted him off of the vehicle and onto the ground," said John McTernan, a fellow activist and good friend of Snell.

Snell's friends called 911 when it appeared he was unconscious. When police arrived, witnesses identified the assailant, only to be met with arrest threats from the female officer who was dispatched. She allowed the attacker to go free, and police only arrested the man after the serious nature of Snell's injuries was released.

"It is unbelievable that an officer would allow an attacker to go free after inflicting life-threatening injuries on an elderly gentleman, then threaten to arrest the witness to the crime," said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. "That was not only unprofessional conduct, but it showed a fundamental lack of respect for Mr. Snell's life and beliefs. She should face serious discipline."

When the Hillcrest abortion clinic was called for comment, the receptionist shouted, "He got what he deserved! He earned what he got!" before hanging up.

Mr. Snell suffered internal hemorrhaging in his head, four compression fractures of vertebrae, a broken shoulder and two broken ribs. Doctors feared he might die before they were able to stop the hemorrhaging.

Snell was released from the hospital on Christmas Eve, and is currently recovering in his home in Harrisburg. Doctors expect his injuries to take eight weeks to heal. Bishop Kevin Rhodes of Harrisburg visited Snell on the day he was released.
