Congressman Mike Kelly (R-PA) referred to yesterday, August 1, 2012—a date which will live in infamy—when the United States Constitution was attacked from within, as ObamaCare regulations went into effect to deny freedom of religion for Christians.
The health care regulation mandate is "religious bigotry" and caters to sexually active women who take risks such as having anal sex with HIV-infected men.

"I know in your mind you can think of times when America was attacked. One is December 7th, that's Pearl Harbor day. The other is September 11th, and that's the day of the terrorist attack," Kelly said at a press conference on Capitol Hill. "I want you to remember August the 1st, 2012, the attack on our religious freedom. That is a day that will live in infamy, along with those other dates."
"This is a right that every American should be outraged, outraged about what this administration and Secretary Sibelius has set forth here on August the 1st," New York Rep. Ann Marie Buerkle (R) said at the same press conference as Kelly. "And as Mike said, August the 1st is a day that we as American will look at as the largest assault on our First Amendment rights."

From "GOP lawmakers equate birth-control mandate with Pearl Harbor, 9/11" by Elise Viebeck, The Hill 8/1/12
Another freshman, Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-Kan.), said the mandate marks the return of "anti-Catholic bigotry" to American life.
"We thought we were past that," he said, "but the mandate from this administration represents the rearing of its head again."
The new policy covers a range of preventive healthcare services apart from birth control, including disease screenings and counseling for women who are breastfeeding or are victims of domestic violence.

From "Aug. 1: Death Knell for Religious Freedom Say Conservatives" by Elizabeth Harrington, CNSNews.com 7/31/12
“August 1st will be remembered as the day our most cherished liberty was thrown in a government dumpster and hauled away,” said Matt Smith, president of Catholic Advocate.
“A day when family-owned small businesses were forced to abandon their religious beliefs to provide products and services for free,” Smith said. “And if they don’t, they will be taxed and fined at a time when job creators are struggling with enough costs and bureaucratic red tape at every level of government just to stay in business.”
The HHS “preventive services” regulation mandates that nearly all health insurance plans in the United States must offer sterilizations, contraceptives, and abortion-inducing drugs free of charge; businesses and individuals who buy health insurance will subsidize those products and services even if they are opposed to them on religious grounds. Businesses and individuals who do not purchase health insurance will have to pay a penalty tax to the federal government.
“Give up your religion or go bankrupt. This is not a mandate it is an ultimatum,” said Larry Cirignano, president of Faithful Catholic Citizens. “Buy insurance and kill babies or go bankrupt fighting [Obama's government].”
