Obama & Child Molestation Opposed by Black Pastors

As news broke that the Democrat Party platform will embrace same-sex "marriage," a coalition of several thousand black pastors announced their vehement opposition to the re-election of President Obama and likened his support of the Gay Agenda to child rape.

“For the homosexual community and for the president to bow to the money as Judas did for Jesus Christ is a disgrace and we’re ashamed. . . .we are going to go nationwide with our agenda just like the president has gone to Hollywood.”
-- Rev. William Owens, president and founder of the Coalition for African American Pastors

-- From "Black pastors group launches anti-Obama campaign around gay marriage" by Dan Merica, CNN 7/31/12

A group of conservative black pastors are responding to President Barack Obama’s support of same-sex marriage with what they say will be a national campaign aimed at rallying black Americans to rethink their overwhelming support of the President, though the group’s leader is offering few specifics about the effort.

“The time has come for a broad-based assault against the powers that be that want to change our culture to one of men marrying men and women marrying women,” said Owens, in an interview Tuesday after the launch event at the National Press Club. “I am ashamed that the first black president chose this road, a disgraceful road.”

At the press conference, Owens was joined by five other black regional pastors and said there were 3,742 African-American pastors on board for the anti-Obama campaign.

At the press conference, Owens said that Obama’s support of same-sex marriage tantamount to supporting child molestation.

“If you watch the men who have been caught having sex with little boys, you will note that all of them will say that they were molested as a child…” Owens said. “For the president to condone this type of thing is irresponsible.”

From "White House mum on support of gay marriage in Democratic party platform" by Susan Crabtree and Cheryl Wetzstein, The Washington Times 7/31/12

In a report released Tuesday, the Pew Research Center said 65 percent of Democrats now say they support gay marriage, compared with 40 percent eight years ago. Liberal Democrats were especially pro-gay marriage, with 83 percent supporting such nuptials, said the report, which polled nearly 3,000 adults a few weeks ago.

In comparison, 51 percent of political independents support gay marriage, while only 24 percent of Republicans support such marriages.

In an email to supporters, the DNC is leading a petition drive asking folks to sign their names saying they approve of the gay-marriage plank.

“Add your name today and say you’re with Democrats as we fight for the right of every American to marry the person they love,” Rep. Barney Frank, a member of the drafting committee and an openly gay member of Congress from Massachusetts, said in the email.

From "Black Pastor: Gay Marriage Issue Will Increase in Importance in November Election" by Michael Gryboski, Christian Post Reporter 8/1/12

The Rev. William Owens, Jr., head of the "Mandate for Marriage" initiative and son of the Rev. William Owens, Sr., the founder and president of the Coalition of African-American Pastors (CAAP), told The Christian Post about the growing importance of the issue at an event on Tuesday.

"It's only going to increase because the very core of America is founded upon Judeo-Christian beliefs. That's debatable to some people but you can't do away with history," said Owens, Jr.

"When you begin to take on those core values you begin to take on what's the core for America. So when more and more begin to realize what is getting ready to happen, it's going to have to become an issue if we want to save our country."

. . . Owens, Sr. [said] that he did not believe Obama supported pedophilia, but that rather by supporting same-sex marriage Obama was making it easier for pedophilia to become more socially acceptable.
