NAACP Transracial NOT Transgender but IS Bisexual

The media frenzy over Spokane NAACP leader Rachel Dolezal is eager to expose her as not authentically of the black race, but is obviously reluctant to discuss her claim of being bisexual.
"As a single mom who has lived on the poverty line and identifies as bisexual, perhaps some of my other demographics are also a first for Spokane."

Why is Caitlyn Jenner treated as a groundbreaking cultural hero and Rachel Dolezal condemned as a charlatan? If it’s okay to be transgender, what’s wrong with being “transracial”?

Many in the mainstream took the bait, and the cases of Jenner and Dolezal were forever intertwined. In People, for example, a psychologist explained why “Rachel Dolezal’s Case Can’t be Compared to Caitlyn Jenner.”

“‘Most people who are transgender, [when they are] as early as 4 or 5, believe already that at some level that they are a child born with the wrong anatomy,'” Derald Wing Sue said. “I don’t see this” with Dolezal.

From "An interview with Rachel Dolezal, the new Spokane NAACP president" by Kelly Mathews, SpokaneFAVS 12/2/14

Rachel Dolezal agreed to an interview for Spokane Faith and Values since her election as president of the Spokane NAACP.

Kelly: When did you first decide to run for president?

Rachel: A few months ago, members asked me to consider running. . . . My candidacy was really a response to requests for me to run for the position of president. My candidacy was not originally my idea, but a request from officers and members in the branch frustrated with current leadership.

Kelly: Rachel . . . Can you please tell us all about your life and all that you do so people understand your level of commitment and passion?

. . . Historically in Spokane, I’m in a very small minority of women presidents of the NAACP. I believe I’m the third or fourth female president since the Spokane NAACP’s inception.

I’d guess I’m also one of the youngest presidents. As a single mom who has lived on the poverty line and identifies as bisexual, perhaps some of my other demographics are also a first for Spokane. I know there is a strong majority of older straight men with strong church ties leading many of the branches nationally.

I’m a spiritual person, but not someone who belongs to any specific church in Spokane.

Nationally, as well locally, there have been very few presidents who are female throughout history.

My leadership is relevant to people who have lived experience in various historically oppressed groups, those who don’t have enough resources, those who have experienced a need for support emotionally and psychologically, and single parents and young leaders who have fought hard to gain respect.

From "Rachel Dolezal Quits N.A.A.C.P. in Spokane" by Richard Pérez-Peña, New York Times 6/15/15

The head of the N.A.A.C.P. chapter in Spokane, subjected to national scrutiny and ridicule after it appeared she lied about her own racial background, announced Monday that she was quitting that post.

It was not clear whether Ms. Dolezal would also give up her part-time teaching position in African-American studies at Eastern Washington University, or her membership on the Spokane police ombudsman’s commission.

. . . N.A.A.C.P. officials and other community leaders said she had represented herself as being of partly black ancestry, and she checked boxes for white, black and Native American on her application to the city for the ombudsman commission, where she was appointed by the mayor. Reached by reporters last week at their home in Montana, Ms. Dolezal’s parents — from whom she is estranged — said that in fact, she has no black background.

Georgia Teacher Ousted—Taught Obama's Pro-abortion

Nancy Perry, a veteran teacher at Dublin (Georgia) Middle School, was forced to take early retirement because she informed students of President Obama's public support for abortion including his votes taken and speeches made, as an Illinois legislator, against the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act arguing in favor of infanticide.
"It is not the place of teachers to attempt to persuade students about religious or political beliefs."

The Dublin Courier Herald reported that city schools superintendent Chuck Ledbetter announced Nancy Perry has also been removed from the classroom for the rest of the year. A student’s parents spoke out after hearing that Perry told the class Obama is Muslim and Christians shouldn’t support him.

Perry’s husband is also a member of the city’s school board and attended a parent-teacher conference after the parents complained. Ledbetter says school principals are required to call the superintendent if any board member asks to sit in on parent-teacher meetings. Ledbetter says the district apologizes for the teacher’s husband appearing at the parent-teacher conference.

Ledbetter said Perry was already planning on retiring before a student's parents accused the teacher in March of telling her class Obama is Muslim and Christians shouldn't support him.

Jimmie Scott, the father who initially complained about Perry, addressed the community at the meeting, saying his family had been ridiculed and had racial slurs thrown at them. Scott is black and Perry is white.

A JP Morgan Chase bank employee says he’s not only puzzled by an internal company survey that asked workers if they considered themselves friend of the lesbian-gay-bisexual-transgender community — he’s fearful of losing his job.

The unnamed employee reported to Professor Robert George of Princeton, who runs a law blog, that this year’s company survey — which is distributed to employees annually as a means of gauging work satisfaction — asked respondents to note if they were disabled, had children or spouses and domestic spouses with disabilities and were members of the LGBT community, Breitbart reported.

But the last question was the most controversial. It read, Breitbart reported: “Are you … an ally of the LGBT community, but not personally identifying as LGBT?”

A second source has confirmed that JP Morgan Chase has asked each of its employees whether they are “an ally of the LGBT community,” which employees have taken as a veiled threat.

The employee told Professor George he fears for his job:
This survey wasn't anonymous. You had to enter your employee ID. With the way things are going and the fact that LGBT rights are being viewed as pretty much tantamount to the civil rights movement of the mid 50s to late 60s, not selecting that option is essentially saying "I'm not an ally of civil rights;" which is a vague way to say "I'm a bigot." The worry among many of us is that those who didn't select that poorly placed, irrelevant option will be placed on the "you can fire these people first" list.

From Starbucks to eBay to Macy's, the increasing visibility of corporations at the parade in [Salt Lake City,] Utah and at others across the country in recent years comes as same-sex marriage bans fall in the courts and polls show greater public acceptance of gay marriage.

In that climate, companies are finding that the benefits of sponsorship outweigh the risks of staying away, giving them a chance to make a statement in support of diversity and use it to help recruit and retain top talent who want to work for a business that supports LGBT rights.

In Salt Lake City, American Express workers carried giant letters that spelled, "Love=Love," the theme of the parade. JPMorgan Chase marchers wore T-shirts that said, "just be you." A Budweiser's semi-truck festooned with rainbow flags drove slowly through the parade, honking its horns.

At the 43rd Motor City Pride Festival in Detroit, banners were adorned with corporate logos, including those of General Motors, Ford, Comerica bank, Kroger and Whole Foods Market. Delta Air Lines employees handed out day packs, luggage tags and the same cookies that passengers get.

UPDATE 7/28/15: From "Facebook, Corporate Giants Back New LGBT Protections" by Philip Elliott, Time Magazine

Food conglomerate General Mills, Nike, American Airlines and Facebook were set to sign onto anti-discrimination legislation known as the Equality Act, the companies said in statements obtained by TIME ahead of their release. The corporate giants, long supporters of gay rights, are joining peers Apple, Dow Chemicals and Levi Strauss in lobbying Congress for that legislation. It was the latest sign that opponents of gay rights are finding themselves standing opposed to business interests. And while the public messaging is clear — the makers of such everyday goods want LGBT Americans to have easier everyday lives — there is an admitted financial interests in adding loyal customers to these brands.

Federal lawmakers now are considering a sweeping non-discrimination law that would bar individuals from being denied services — including housing and jobs but also mortgages and education — based on their sexuality or gender identity. . . .

In crafting the bill, lawmakers consulted a coalition that included the NAACP, the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund and National Council on La Raza in the hopes of pitching the new legislation as a civil rights bill for the 21st Century. The American Civil Liberties Union, the National Women’s Law Center and the Human Rights Campaign also offered their advice.

Dartmouth Dumps African in Support of Homosexuals

Backed by the NAACP, Dartmouth College has rescinded the appointment of Dr. James Tengatenga, the former bishop for the Anglican diocese of Southern Malawi, because of past statements he made critical of homosexuality, although more recently, he HAS embraced "gay marriage."  Having thus been accused of not being gay-supporting enough, Dr. Tengatenga plans to engage legal counsel.

This is an intriguing saga of a battle between several leftist homosexualist institutions . . .

-- From "Words on gays cost bishop post at Dartmouth" by Lisa Wangsness, Boston Globe Staff 8/15/13

The extraordinary move by Dartmouth’s new president, Philip J. Hanlon, to retract the college’s offer won praise from those who raised concerns about how the appointment would affect gay students on a campus that has sometimes struggled with intolerance.

Hanlon, who met last week with Tengatenga on Dartmouth’s campus in Hanover, N.H., said in a statement Wednesday that after much reflection and consultation with senior leaders at the college, he decided that Tengatenga’s past statements compromised his ability to lead the William J. Tucker Foundation.

His appointment had sparked a campus controversy as word spread that he had sharply criticized the election of Bishop Gene Robinson of New Hampshire, the first openly gay bishop in the Anglican Communion, and that he had asserted in 2011 that the Anglican dioceses in Malawi remained “totally against homosexuality.”

Tengatenga released a statement saying that his views on gay rights had evolved over time and that he now supports marriage equality and considers discrimination of any kind sinful.

Despite Tengatenga’s July 18 statement announcing his support for LGBT rights, many students said they support Hanlon’s decision because they would not have wanted a Tucker leader who might have discriminated against community members.

After Tengatenga stated his support of same-sex marriage on Dartmouth Now, many still feel that Tengatenga’s prior statements reflect his personal views.

“We don’t know how many people had trouble separating comments expressing institutional views from private individual views,” said German and comparative literature professor Irene Kacandes, who led the Tucker search committee that selected Tengatenga.

One of the groups that countersigned the protest is the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. “Of all the groups to take the lead against a black person on flimsy grounds,” Tengatenga said. “So much for the advancement of colored people … It is sad that such an institution can stoop so low.”

Exploiting Obama Racism for MD Same-sex 'Marriage'

Next week's vote on the definition of marriage in Maryland is said to hinge on the state's nearly one-third black population, according to homosexualists who advertise that African Americans who blindly pledge allegiance to President Obama should likewise follow his anti-Christian lead and bless what God abhors -- a mantra being countered by black pastors.
“It's bad enough for President Obama to personally support gay marriage, now he and this ad are urging Black Christians to ignore their pastors and are attempting to re-educate the Black Christian community for political gain. This has to stop.”

The ad, produced by Marylanders for Marriage Equality, highlights the emphasis both sides have put on wooing African-American voters, who make up a larger share of the electorate in Maryland than in any state outside the Deep South.

Proponents have also featured civil rights leaders and black ministers in their ads, arguing that allowing gay people to wed is the fair thing to do whether one personally approves or not.

They have also emphasized Obama’s conversion and the endorsement of same-sex marriage this spring of the NAACP.

From "Black vote key to Maryland gay marriages" by Pamela Nonga Ngue, California News Service 10/31/12

Increasing acceptance of same-sex marriage among African American voters could propel Maryland to become the first state to legalize same-sex marriage through a ballot referendum.

Initially, opposition among African American churches presented a formidable obstacle in a state whose population is almost one-third black and is among the nation's most reliable Democratic states.

But recent polls have revealed a shift in African American attitudes, which could have implications for same-sex measures around the nation, including those in Minnesota, Maine and Washington state. Support for marriage rights from President Obama has contributed to a growing acceptance among blacks that parallels evolving attitudes in the population as a whole.

A Washington Post poll this month showed the measure ahead by nine percentage points, though a Baltimore Sun poll released last weekend showed it a dead heat. If approved, the law will go into effect on Jan. 1.

Black voters have traditionally opposed gay marriage. . . .

[However,] Black opinion in Maryland shifted after Obama this year publicly backed same-sex marriage and the NAACP announced its support. A Pew Research Center national poll yesterday on Hispanics found that 52 percent said they supported gay marriage, a shift from 2006 when 56 percent opposed it.

. . . backers of gay marriage are making a direct appeal to blacks, who make up a quarter of the state’s voters, using television ads that feature ministers and a civil-rights leader explaining their support.

The Maryland ballot initiative is pitting minister against minister.

The latest polling for the [Baltimore] Sun, conducted Oct. 20-23 by the Annapolis, Md., firm OpinionWorks, now shows 50% of black voters against same-sex marriage, with 42% supporting the idea.

Turnout in the state is likely to be driven by the presidential election, with Democrats expected to show up in big numbers. In the 2008 election, African Americans accounted for 25% of the Maryland vote.

From "Black Pastors: Pro-Gay-Marriage Ad ‘Manipulating the Black Community’" by Matt Cover, CNSNews.com 11/1/12

A group of African-American pastors is slamming a political ad that urges Marylanders to vote for a ballot referendum that would legalize same-sex marriage, calling it an attempt “to re-educate the black community” on the issue.

“This ad is the worst attempt at pandering and manipulating the Black community to ignore their own pastors who rightfully uphold the sanctity of traditional marriage. President Obama, whose support for same-sex marriage is used in the ad to explicitly pressure Black listeners to ignore their church's teachings, must disavow the ad and its message,” Owens said.

Black Christian churches traditionally have opposed homosexual marriage on religious grounds, often frustrating the attempts of liberals who try to enact it. In Maryland, the state legislature passed a same-sex marriage bill earlier this year, prompting the ballot measure as a last-chance effort by opponents of gay marriage to stop the law from taking effect.

Black Pastors Split with NAACP, Obama on Gay Agenda

Ten days after President Obama endorsed same-sex "marriage," the NAACP leaders overwhelmingly passed a resolution agreeing with the president, which caused an exit of local NAACP chapters and the resignation of NAACP board member Reverend Keith Ratliff. YouTube Censors Criticism of Planned Parenthood following D.C. Media Focus

Taking donations to exterminate African Americans seen as not politically correct. "It isn't the first time YouTube has shut down a pro-life message."

-- From "Planned Parenthood targets blacks" Washington Times Editorial 8/25/08

. . . blacks are disproportionately impacted by abortion. Is Planned Parenthood deliberately acting to reduce the black population? Is it practicing a form of eugenics?

According to the Alan Guttmacher Institute, a nonprofit organization focused on sexual and reproductive health research, 13 percent of the U.S. population is black, but 37 percent of all abortions are performed on black women. More than 10 million black babies have been aborted since 1973. Black women are 4.8 times as likely as white women to have an abortion. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also indicates that one out of every five white pregnancies ends in abortion, whereas one out of every two black pregnancies ends in abortion.

Fortunately, Miss [Alveda] King and others . . . are bringing attention to Planned Parenthood's deliberate focus on minority neighborhoods. One-third of all abortions performed by Planned Parenthood in 2007 were on blacks, and a majority of Planned Parenthood's clinics are in minority neighborhoods.

A recent video on YouTube showed a Planned Parenthood development director eagerly taking money specifically to be earmarked for the elimination of black children. One caller said he wanted to do this because there are "definitely too many black people in Ohio." And the receptionist simply said, "O.K." Similar incidents in seven other states have sparked a call for a congressional investigation of Planned Parenthood - and we concur.

Margaret Sanger, who founded what is now Planned Parenthood, wrote a letter in 1939 to Clarence Gamble, with whom she was partnering to promote birth control and abortions in the black community: "We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We do not want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members."

-- From "YouTube censors criticism of Planned Parenthood" by Bob Unruh © 2008 WorldNetDaily 9/2/08

. . . YouTube has decided to censor several audio recordings that had been posted by pro-life activists documenting the corporation's willingness to accept donations on the basis of race.

That's the word from Live Action Films, a pro-life student organization whose officials confirmed that not only did YouTube block four of their postings, YouTube has refused to respond to a request from Live Action to unblock the videos and explain the actions.

"It is discriminatory for YouTube to selectively censor material that clearly does not contain inappropriate content," said Live Action President Lila Rose, who also edits The Advocate, and whose work to document Planned Parenthood activities previously was reported by WND.

The posted recordings had generated wide interest from the national media, and Live Action Media Director David Schmidt said, "These four videos have received over 160,000 YouTube views in total with the oldest video having been public on YouTube for over seven months. Why are these videos being removed now?"

Dozens of pastors and pro-life activists attending the 99th annual NAACP conference in Cincinnati this week are calling on that organization to help de-fund the nation’s largest abortion provider.

“Racism lives at Planned Parenthood,” said Dr. Alveda King, pastoral associate of the group Priests for Life and niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., during a rally on Monday.

“I say to my fellow NAACP members: It's time we tell the government to stop funding racism.

“Planned Parenthood will gladly accept donations for the specific purpose of aborting only black babies,” King said. “It locates its clinics in or near minority neighborhoods. It has led the way in eliminating African-Americans to the point where one-quarter of the black population is now missing because of abortion.”

King, who had two abortions before adopting a pro-life position, called on the nation's oldest civil rights organization to remember its mission statement: “To ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination.”

“Planned Parenthood is anti-life,” she said, “and we are here to say enough is enough!"

Another speaker at the rally was Day Gardner, president of the National Black Pro-Life Union. She said that, “as a child, I thought the NAACP to be a super-hero organization; an organization that would fight racism right down to its very core.”

However, she stressed that NAACP leaders need to have their eyes opened to the racist agenda of Planned Parenthood – which results in black women being 4.8 times more likely to have an abortion than a white woman.

"We are here to rally the NAACP – to make our voices heard as we shout in unison – all across this great nation that the struggle is not yet over," she said. "The evil hand of racism is still at work in this country and living in the bowels of Planned Parenthood.”

Gardner also spoke about the federal tax dollars that go to Planned Parenthood and said it was time for Congress to end the funding.
