Some of our regular readers like to challenge us Christian types, and I don't take offense at that. In fact, I heartily welcome it. Challenge, debate, outright argue if you must. But it's obvious to me that their perspective on Christianity has been formed from afar - far far afar! - and that if they only knew the character and heart of genuine, faithful Christians, they would be so pleasantly surprised.
I was reading this blog, just catching up with a friend who is a single evangelist in another city now. He's suffered some serious disappointments and grievous wrongs and losses himself. This sad post conveys so beautifully how a believer learns to share in the burdens of others and how a believer's heart breaks for the lost sheep.
