A couple who met during drama class were voted "cutest couple" during an annual senior yearbook poll last week at Waukegan High School.
But for the first time in the yearbook's history, the "cutest couple'' is two girls, stirring up a controversy for school administrators.
After initially eliminating the category, administrators switched to a plan for a "cute couple'' yearbook page to include the gay couple's photo, along with pictures of about five heterosexual couples who received the most runner-up votes.
