Recently, Christians discovered a new means to fight the Gay Agenda, but once again homosexualists have exploited political correctness to battle back:
Now that activist judges have stripped voters of their right to uphold marriage, the populace has decided to vote with their pocketbooks by funding Christians who publicly stand for Christ. In response, the homosexualists have intimidated GoFundMe into shutting down such Christian donation campaigns.

A supporter of [Christian bakers] Aaron and Melissa Klein set up the [GoFundMe] campaign to help raise money for the couple after an administrative law judge for the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries [BOLI] issued a proposed order recommending they pay $135,000 in damages to a lesbian couple from Portland.
The BOLI judge said the Kleins illegally discriminated against Rachel and Laurel Bowman-Cryer when they refused the women's attempt to order a wedding cake, instead citing their Christian beliefs against same-sex marriage.
It wasn't clear Friday what specifically led to the apparent shelving of the GoFundMe fundraiser. But in response to a query by The Oregonian/OregonLive, the San Diego-based company provided this email reply:
After careful review by our team, we have found the "Support Sweet Cakes By Melissa" campaign to be in violation of our Terms and Conditions and have removed this campaign. The money raised thus far will still be made available for withdrawal.

Lisa Watson, of Cupcake Jones, started her own campaign to contact GoFundMe and report the campaign as being in violation of their terms of service. Watson’s own post on Facebook stated, “this business has been found GUILTY OF DISCRIMINATION and is being allowed to fundraise to pay their penalty. The gofundme terms of service address hate speech, bigotry, criminal activity, and sexism among other things in their campaign…The amount of money they have raised in a matter of a few hours by thousands of anonymous cowards is disgusting.”
Late on Friday GoFundMe stopped the Sweet Cakes campaign. Via GoFundMe: "After careful review by our team, we have found the "Support Sweet Cakes By Melissa" campaign to be in violation of our Terms and Conditions. The money raised thus far will still be made available for withdrawal. While a different campaign was recently permitted for a pizzeria in Indiana, no laws were violated and the campaign remained live. However, the subjects of the "Support Sweet Cakes By Melissa" campaign have been formally charged by local authorities and found to be in violation of Oregon state law concerning discriminatory acts. Accordingly, the campaign has been disabled."

“The campaign entitled “Sweet Cakes by Melissa” involves formal charges,” a [GoFundMme] company spokeswoman said in a statement. “As such, our team has determined that it was in violation of GoFundMe’s Terms & Conditions.”
But the spokeswoman did not respond to a follow-up question about another fundraising campaign involving Jeremy Meeks, the California man dubbed the “Hot Convict” whose mugshot went viral last year. The apparent double-standard was pointed out by a number of Twitter users. That campaign, set up by Meeks’ mother, has raised over $6,000.
Meeks was arrested in June 2014 on felony weapons charges and sentenced to two years in prison in February.

From "Sweet Cakes owners direct donors to new fundraising site as they look to restart GoFundMe campaign" by George Rede, The Oregonian 4/25/15
The GoFundMe campaign quickly picked up steam, raising more than $100,000 in just a few hours before it was shut down.
Aaron Klein said reporters came to his home and his shop, the couple's business car was vandalized and broken into twice, and photographers and florists severed ties with the company, eventually forcing Sweet Cakes to close its Gresham storefront shop in September 2013. The business now operates out of the couple's home in Sandy.
Samaritan's Purse, founded by Franklin Graham, eldest son of the Rev. Billy Graham . . . is raising funds to help the Kleins pay their fine and meet other expenses. "They have taken a stand for the Word of God, and they should not have to stand alone," Samaritan's Purse President Franklin Graham said. "I believe that Christians across our nation will rally around Aaron and Melissa and their five children."

[Franklin] Graham urged prayers for Aaron and Melissa, and the nation. "When our judges are punishing Christians for practicing what they believe, that's persecution, plain and simple."
"It's very discouraging. This is not money coming from a business, this is not money coming from an insurance fund, this is money coming straight from our bank account," Klein said in a radio interview with the Family Research Council. "This is money that should be used to pay my mortgage, money that should be used to feed our kids, not something that should be given to others," Klein added. "This is a decision I made because of my faith, and now the government is now saying it doesn't matter, your kids can suffer for it as well."
"What happened today is an egregious assault on the freedom Americans have to peaceably live their lives according to their beliefs," FRC President Tony Perkins said in a statement. "An Oregon judge made clear in no uncertain terms to the Kleins and all Oregonians that the state has the right to demand that citizens engage in activities that violate their beliefs and if they refuse, they will lose their ability to make a living. In a free country, this is a ruling that cannot and must not stand," Perkins added.
